Summer is well and truly here, and we marked mid-summer with the release of our new batch of Men's and Women's t-shirts. It's been a short window of time since they dropped, and already we've been blown away by the response.
We set out this year with a vision of reimagining our class t-shirts, and couldn't be more excited to share them with you! They're a little different to what you might have seen from Outwest previously, so we're sharing a bit more behind the scenes on how these designs and changes came to life.
New Fit
One of the things we learned from our survey last year, was that you wanted Men's & Women's fits in our t-shirts. It might sound like a small thing, but how a t-shirt fits can completely change how you feel when you throw it on in the morning. So you asked, and we listened. We’ve moved away from the old unisex cut and introduced proper Women’s and Men’s fits. These new cuts are all about comfort, ease, and feeling good in your own skin.
New Feel
One of your favourite things about Outwest is the softness of the fabric, which was something we always want to continue to build upon. So the fabric’s had a little upgrade too! Still the same 100% Organic Cotton you know and love, but now thicker and softer. It's your favourite tee, now better. When you touch it - you'll know! We’ve also tidied up the neckline so it keeps its shape, no matter how often you reach for it.
New Designs
Another thing our community always tell us, is that some people love graphics, while others opt for simplicity. So with this drop our aim was to balance some simple staples, a mix of subtle logo pieces, with a handful of new colourful graphics inspired by the landscapes that surround us here in the West. Think hedgerow wildflowers, moonlit mountains, and the soft tones of sea and sky. Check them out!
Women's Off White Trail T-Shirt
This one is a personal favourite, and really feels like summer in Dingle. A clean, off-white base with a bold red print on the back. Drawn from the fuchsia and wildflowers that bloom along windy back roads. This one looks great with shorts, jeans, leggings - so it's a summer staple that's light, breezy, and made for long summer days.
You’ve been asking for a simple tee with no back graphic - so here it is! Just a clean, crisp off-white shirt with a small logo on the front. Easy to throw on, easy to pair with anything, and made to last season after season.
Women's Eucalyptus Trail T-Shirt
The green of this tee was inspired by the heather out near Clogher Head - soft, muted, and easy to wear. There’s a print on the back with the exact coordinates of that spot on the peninsula, a subtle nod to one of our favourite places for a walk by the sea.
Men's Part of Your Journey T-Shirt
A design and colour chosen specifically to be the kind of t-shirt that looks better with age the more you wear it. A simple graphic of the moon rising over distant hills, paired with the coordinates of Dingle town. This might just be our most popular tee yet.
Soft clay tones and a golden glow - this t-shirt is a quiet nod to the mountains at sunset. The Outwest logo is front and centre for once, while our name runs down the spine on the back. It’s understated, timeless, and easy to wear every day.
We designed these t-shirts with all of your feedback in mind, made for days spent outside, adventures, and everyday moments in between. They’re made to be lived in - built for life outdoors, with quality that lasts through summer and beyond. The kind of wardrobe staples that only get better the more you wear them.
